Brand new authentic microtech with no markings at all on pocket clip

Hi I just bought a brand new microtech Exocet w/tanto blade from knife center.com and paid $273 to my door,the box and cards inside plus bag with Qc signature all are dead on and the markings on the blade are dead on,so is the weight but there is no markings at all on the pocket clip meaning the microtech symbol,date,and serial number,I live in Arizona and both them and microtech are closed right now ,has anyone ever recieved a knife like this from an authorized dealer???Thanks for any input and this is not my first microtech and I mean this thing is spot on so I know I’ll figure it out tommorow but I’m impatient lol Thanks again!!!
 
Yep. I got a makora 2 once that had a complete botched symbol on the clip. It’s very possible. If you aren’t happy with it, contact the dealer tomorrow and they should swap it out for you.
 
I got the black handle with stonewashed tanto blade and ya I agree also I like it better without the markings on the pocket clip,plus what a hassle I sent pics into microtech 2 days ago and still have gotten no response WTF!! Knife center said wow never seen this and we get our knives directly from MT but I would need to send it back to them then they need to send it to MT to confirm I guess it’s real even though I bought from an authorized dealer then whenever the ok comes back I’ll get sent a new knife,bullshit in my opinion I should be next dayed a new knife as soon as knife center receieves this one so screw it I know it’s legit and m just gonna keep it ,I’ll never sell it,I’d give it to my son before that but I couldn’t find anything anywhere about this happening so I hope this helps someone someday!!
 
I have an older scarab with torx screws instead if the Microtech screws, and somebody once commented on it being a forgery, but I'm certain it's not. Tony at MT saw it and operated it but did not comment about the screws. I meant to ask him but the opportunity didn't present itself.

Thanks for that comment and ya I know it’s 100% a microtech but I’ll tell ya I like to try out different otf’s and not the cheap Chinese ones either,I bought the only otf this company M3tactical tech makes and they sort of say it’s a money clip also but it’s a tad smaller then microtech’s but the build quality blows microtech’s Exocet out of the water,it even has the firing switch right on the front of it and not that it’s a big deal but it comes in a hard plastic case ,a really nice one with a t6 torx driver and extra screws for every screw on the knife and I mean I compared them yesterday and dont get me wrong I do love the Exocet but this one is called the rogue and it blows it away for $199 you get 154cm blade steel and for $249 you get bonkers 390 blade steel,I’m actually gonna buy another one in a different color,the guys machinist and shop are here in Arizona and the owner lives in Oregon everything about the knife is made in the USA also!!!Please check them out if you guys get a chance,plus his customer service is spot on,he emails you right back and even gave me his number so we could text so it was easier to communicate and I only had a couple questions about a color that I didn’t see on his website but I seen on another,microtech’s customer service sucks and the reason my knife doesn’t have the serial number or date on it is their fault not mine!!My next otf I think is gonna be the new sog coming out,I’m gonna give it a shot,I don’t like the looks of the new gerber otf coming out that’s why I’m gonna try that sog,so we will see and thanks again to anybody who wrote in I really appreciate it!!!

That rogue thing looks super uncomfortable. No offence. However, you did get me to google it.
