Brand new Benchmade AFO 2 Auto knife Very slow opening

I just bought a brand new Benchmade 9052SBK AFO 2 auto knife this morning. It was working perfect , now it is opening very slow . I have not even used it or carried it yet , just opened it a few times . It take 5 seconds to open . Any ideas??? Send it in to benchmade or any DIY ideas.
 
Thank You. It is now back in action. Looks like there was a small piece of gunk stuck in the pivot , must have been left over from the factory.
