Brand New in Original Box and wrapping Discontinued Bark River Rogue Bowie with Antique Ivory Micarta. It is an authentic full tang Natchez Bowie knife with Nickel Silver Hardware and pins and a coffin shaped handle. This is Bark River's version of the First Real Bowie Knives made in this country. The Rogue is done in the Early Natchez Style and ours is sized from a vintage Example in the Arkansas State Museum that has been credited to early Bowie Maker James Black.
The Rogue is all knife and works for any modern usage of a knife this size. History and Practicality all in one package. The 7.125" long blade is made out of A-2 tool steel and it is full convex ground. It is literally razor sharp! The steel hardness is 58Rc. The blade thickness is .215". The overall length is 12.125".
The coffin shaped handle is made of Antique Ivory Micarta which is very strong and appealing to the eye. There are 8 metal pins per side to keep the handle slabs in their place. It also includes nickel silver finger guard and an ample Lanyard hole.
The sheath is New Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Leather belt sheath is included. This sheath is period Correct and is of the Style of many of the Vintage Bowies and many European Knives.
