Brand New in Original Box Discontinued Benchmade 740SBK Dejavoo. Awesome design by the Late Bob Lum. It has a 3.95" black coated semi-serrated blade of S30V. The relatively thin blade (0.125" thick) in conjunction with the wide profile and the full flat grind give a very good slicing potential to the knife. Both the plain edge, as well as, the serrated part are very sharp! The serrated part of the blade is very easy to keep it so by means of a white (fine) Spyderco Sharpmaker. The blade opens very fast as it pivots around phosphor bronze washers, by means of the thumb hole which is located on the blade. A modified locking titanium liner mechanism secures it in place. Overall length of the knife is 9.12".

The handle measures 5.17" and is made of 3D contoured G10 scales. At the bottom of the handle there is a lanyard hole. The formation of the butt of the handle allows it to be used as a yawara stick in a self defense situation. There is also a deep carry pocket clip.

This is a very versatile folder. It can be used for a variety of chores: from skinning game, all the way to bushctaft and self defense.

John Larsen did a thorough review of this knife which was published in the July 2008 issue of Tactical Knives magazine. Part of this review can be found here: http://www.tactical-life.com/online/tactical-knives/benchmade-dejavoo/

Price is $170 USPS Money order or, $175 Paypal shipped with delivery confirmation in the USA. Personal checks are O.K. as long as you accept that I will ship the knife after your check clears. NO TRADES please.
