Hi to all. I am completely new to this forum as well as Chris Reeve knives. I wanted to share a picture with everyone of my newest knife.

I bought this completely on a whim when I saw it recently at a local gun show. It felt so perfect in my hand and I just had to have it. I did manage to wait until the next day, and I even got permission from the wife. So far my favorite knives are my fixed blades (SOG Seal Pup, KOA Pronghorn Hunter, and CRK Pacific). I think my purchase of this one was particularly dangerous because I held a sebenza as well. I'm pretty sure I need one of these too. Perhaps that will be my new favorite folder someday. I do wonder how to carry this knife with the included sheath. If I carry it on my belt it would hang down way too far for my tastes. Being a complete noobie, how would you guys recommend carrying it? I would like it to be as concealed as possible and second to that, as comfortable as it can be. I would carry it perhaps hunting and camping. Thanks.

Congratulations on your CRK purchase. The Pacific looks like a great knife. The only CRK military style I have is the Neil Roberts and its a great knife. All the military style are similar, just different styling is all........

CRK are addicting, I started out with the small Shadow III seeing if I would like it, now 30CRK later, the addiction still lingers. The only thing that has kept me from buying more is lack of funds. I know I bought alot, but there are not many I would want to part with. Thats why I made is a personally policy to only sell a CRK to buy another CRK......lol. Its been working so far.........

The sebenzas are sweet. When you get one, you will frown on all other folding knives. Did you handle a Regular or 21 style ?.........

The military sheaths do hang a little low, though pretty normal fo a ixed blade knife. When I got my Neil Roberts, the individual had a custom kydex sheath made for it. It rides much higher and more to your liking possibly. The kydex sheath was made by Okuden (Brian Wagner) and is top of the line. If you did not wanna go that route, you could rig a shoulder holster style strap to carry it. At least you have options !!!

congrats!!! bold move to buy that one (large fixed blade) as your first CRK, but on the other hand, the first knife I bought myself was a buck nighthawk fixed blade back in the 90's...
Now go for a CR folder too :)

You can contact Chris Reeves and ask if they make a leather sheath for the Pacific. When I bought my Niel Roberts several years back CRK also made a leather sheath for it. It was never advertised, think I heard about it here. Anyway, it rides a lot higher and in my opinion looks a lot nicer too. Think it was $45 or so.

The leather sheaths for the Pacific are very classy, and very well constructed. Give CRK a call for pricing and availability.

You can also contact Gfeller directly. I have emailed them about sheaths for my CRK, it always takes them a week or two to get back to you as they are very busy. CRK will give you get a much faster responce.

I will definitely call CRK and see about a sheath. Does anyone have a picture of this? Or nyefmaker do you have a picture of your kydex sheath?

with the blackhawk sheaths, there is a way to rig it for a high ride. i had a green beret that came with the blackhawk, then i think they switched to the spec ops.

for concealment, id recommend a custom kydex from either okuden or buy brown.
