Hi all,
Recently I started buying Cold Steel knives and really love them. I just bought a Recon 1 tanto. I put the Recon 1 tanto and the Voyager tanto side by side as I though they'd be the same blade shape and length, and I immediately noticed that my Voyager has a more pronounced belly. Noticing the lack of "slight belly" has got me looking further into it and I noticed the bevel is uneven (not worried about that) and also that the blade doesn't level with the sharpening choil and the area behind it, which leads me to think that the knife was maybe over-grinded and lost some of the steal that was supposed to be there. It kind of looks like you'd expect the knife to look after 5 years of decent use.
I wanted to ask if this is common, and if anyone else had this issue if this is even an issue. Will appreciate all the feedback I can get. I am new to the forum.
