i have an older spyderco knife, wondering how to fix the broken lock? it will lock in place, but it wont hold it locked, just a tap on spine and it breaks loose, makes it a little dangerous to use anymore. does spyderco have a warranty? i really like this model, it isfull serrated blade, on one side of handle it has...

clipit
endura

the plastic pocket clip also broke, it was a work knife.

thanks for any info guys.

Go to Spyderco's website and click on the contact link. Use the first pull down menu link and you'll see a request for repair help. Here's a link to help you:

ive blown it out, and oiled it, no avail. its got pins , so i doubt i can take it apart. it also does not have type of steel on blade anywhere. it could be one of the first ones. ive had it a ahile, and i got it from a guy who had it a long time. ive seen one just like it on ebay, but that one had "G2" on blade. the spring still works fine when you open or close it, you can feel it. i think i will just pick up a new one and keep this one in case its valuable.

It is a first generation Endura. The blade steel is most likely GIN-1/G-2 (a few were made in AUS-8 when there were supply problems). I can't speak for Spyderco, but I believe they would suggest you retire the knife, as no parts will be available.

Nothing lasts forever. Given that Endura has to be at least 18 years old (steel markings started appearing around '92), and was "a work knife" it's probably just worn out.
