So I just happened to go into my local knife store to check the inventory and was actually about to purchase an Emerson A-100 (good knife too) and just happened to ask in a joking manner if they had any Sebenzas in stock. The guy says, "well actually we got One today." I about jumped out of my boots and said, "Can I see it?!" The guy pulled it out and it was a polished S35VN Micarta Inlay Sebenza with the birth certificate from August 23rd 2011. Literally made about a week before I found it. I asked the guys if they would work out a deal of partial trade plus cash and they said sure, bring in what you have. I drove as fast as I could without getting pulled over and grabbed my entire collection of non-CRK stuff (everything but the Umnumzaan :o) and drove straight back to the shop.

So a lot of cash and 3 knives down and I got my Grail knife!!!

(Blurry pics edited and additional photos added in last post)

The knife never even made it to the display case, it actually wasn't even entered in the system when I got to it :D

I'm set for life now....unless I find another one :p

Just wanted to share my Excellent find. I truly missed my Sebenza even after having the Umnumzaan these last few months.

The large micarta is definitley my favorite user knife of all time. I think it has it all. Function and Looks.
And that polished blade is a nice change of pace. Really sweet blade you got there.

A fine looking knife that is. I might need to get a large micarta Sebenza. Wonder why your screws are polished. Guess it goes with the polished blade.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize two of the pics were blurry until I double checked the thread just now :o I'll fix that tomorrow with some better daylight :)

I was very blessed that I had a good amount of funding available as well as the deal of the partial trade on this brand new Sebenza :D

When I held it I remembered how much I missed my Sebenzas. I still love my Umnumzaan, but I don't think anything compares to getting that Grail Sebenza :)

Very nice! Do you know if CR polishes stonewashed sebenzas if you send them in?

No they don't. You can buy a polished blade but they won't polish yours. I would call and make sure but that is how it has been in the past.

That's a beauty! You did good.

I agree. I had both plain and wood inlays Sebenzas before I got my first micarta. I like the way the inlays fill out the grip better than the plain, and the micarta is both tougher and more grippy than the wood inlays. These are great users, as you say.

Here's some more pics of the Sebbie and a few with it's younger but bigger brother:
