I've been making a few stick tang knives lately, in case I ever decide to work toward ABS certification. This is a stock removal knife, but I figured practice on fit/finish, guards, and handles is never wasted. This knife is stock removal 3/16 1080 carbon steel with a 400 grit satin finish. The guard is brass, with a good press fit. This is the first blade I've finished out since I got my Bruce Bump/ Benton file guide. I can say for sure that it greatly improved my process of truing up the shoulders and making the plunges even. The handle is mesquite from Brandon's grandma's ranch, at his request. Filework is double cut wave. OAL is 8.5 with a blade of 3.75 inches.

Jason,
Nice hunter. Clean and well made for sure. Thanks for the mention.
Hey I met your brother Travis. Spent last weekend at the same hammer-in. Great guy.

Yeah, Travis said you guys got to spend some time together. Sounds like you all had a good time. A bit far for me to drive.
