Hello all,

I collect knives primarily based on locking mechanisms. I own about 25 different ones now and am now looking for a knife with the lever lock. HOWEVER, because most of the knives that use this lock are automatic, they are forbidden for me (live in Canada). Does anyone know of any brands/names of knives using the lever lock that are NOT automatic? If so, please do share. With that lock mechanism, i'll be up to 26. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Soque River was a short-lived company that designed the Lev-R-Lok and had them made by Camillus.
After Soque went out of business Camillus continued to make them with their own name.
it was a somewhat common model and should be easy to find on eBay.

Hey Bob W,

Thanks for info on that knife, but i don't think it's what i'm looking for. It still uses a lockback as the lock. The lever is just some assisted opening mechanism. The lever lock I am looking for (non-auto of course) is the type in those italian stilettos (like hubertus, mikov, akc) where the lever is by the pivot and you can only open/close it by depressing the lever, which lifts a pin in the blade base i believe. Any ideas?
