Gary Mukey, a true gentleman, did an excellent job with this first Hammer-In and Show. Here he is filling an ice chest. The weather was a "little warm" Friday and Saturday so the ice chest was very popular.

The event was held at The Shepherd Of The Hills, a beautiful location. Here is a photo of "Old Matt's Cabin" , located on the grounds.

I set up in "Old Matt's Barn". Trust me, not the first time to set up in a barn.....:)

Mr Ward, thank you for the beautiful pictures. That is a very picturesque location.
Very nice to see pictures of people and the place where the show is held.
Looking forward to more pictures.
Shame that you had to let a trivial thing like food interfere with posting pictures:D.

First thing on the agenda were the award knives. Jerry Rados won best folder with this knife. Beautiful. It's posted elsewhere but deserves a second look

The wire handled bowie by Newton is very unique.
Kyle Royer has done well this year, picking up quite a few awards for his knives. He has come a long way in a very short time.Does very good work.

Wow - GREAT pics Chuck. I love that little Newton hunter. Ron had a similar themed piece with him at the Little Rock show several years ago and I still regret not buying it.

Thank you Chuck for sharing the beautiful images.

I will definitely try to attend this hammer-in in the future.

I have really enjoyed seeing the scenic photos posted from both here and Josh's hammer-in.

The United States is a BEAUTIFUL country.
