I just received what is hopefully my first of many Branton knifes, his new Branton/Brend Mid Tech boot knife, #10 of 60. Grab one of these if it's not too late!
Beautiful hand-rubbed finish on the blade, nice grinds, you can see the Brend influence as well. It has a nice, slender handle which fits my hands perfectly. The micarta has been very nicely worked to a smooth finish and a precise fit to the tang all the way around. If you rub your finger around the handle with your eyes closed, you cannot when you go from micarta to steel, etc. Nicely balanced and feels very quick. Well-fitted kydex sheath with Tek-Lok.
As you can probably tell, I'm no knife reviewer, but this is definitely a keeper. If this is an indication of what's to come, I'll be in line frequently.

Edited to add: I just pulled several other custom knives with micarta handles out to look at them. All great blades, but the Branton knife has the nicest work on the handle of all of them.
