I'm sneaking in to a new forum here, I have only recently moved up to buying full handmade custom knives, so I thought I would show off one I bought Sunday at a local Gun & Knife show.

It was made by Braschler Martin Custom Knives in Zalma, MO.

Specs:

440C stainless full tang blade with a stunning mirror polish.

Beautiful Elk antler scales.

Heavy Duty sheath that is very nicely done.

Overall fit and finish is perfect, the scales fit with now gaps or overlap.

8 7/8 overall with a 4 1/2 inch RAZOR sharp blade!

My digital photo skills are still growing, and mirror polish
blade still give me a lot of trouble, so ANY blemishes or
stuff you see on the blades is either reflection of tree
branches from overhead, or me being to close with the camera,
you could literally shave both with this knife or in your
reflection in the blade, the mirror finish is that perfect!

Well, for a newbie to customs, how did I do?

Nice start! Looks like quality from sheath to blade.

Good choice. You're hooked. Welcome! :)

Try to get one with bolsters next time. Classies it up some, and holds higher value. Stay away from brass unless you LOOOOOVE it.

Actually he had the same knife with bolsters, I chose this one for personal preference, I agree on the brass though, ALL of my Buck custom shoppe 110's (which I consider semi-custom) are nickel silver bolstered.
