Brasil Brasil Brasil Brasil Brasil Brasil Brasil

I don't know the language... but I suppose this better belongs to the community forum?
For me, it's expected for brazil to win against germany ;) I used to catch the world cup and they were one of the toughest to beat.

Five time winners. Two more than anyone else. This win also means that South American teams have now won nine times to European team's eight.

I figured Brasil right from day one, but a lot of the other teams sure surprised me.

Dae han min gook !!!!!

I see that several guys in the States are aware that soccer is not just for the ladies... :D

But just what did some of those players do to their hair? One guy looked like he got his hair cut with a Becker Patrol Machete.

Well, you guys had the good fortune to have a real referee for the final match. Italy had no such luck. :grumpy:

Hurray Brazil. I've no connection to Brazil, but good for them.

Also, when I hear "Germany", I still think the "N" word.

Tough.

Soccer is a great sport.....the World Cup was unreal. I mean this:

Soccer just kills me sometimes... (I know it has killed a goalie or two in the past!)

Now, in Hockey, you just beat your opponent up right then and there... and if you're the guy who lost the fight... people clap for you because you tried. ... You are not killed afterwards by your own "fans" because you let them down. 'nuff said.

Soccer or football (as we know it here in South East Asia) is a game without race, religion, political idealogies or gender. It was shown in a lot of fair play moments during the World Cup by both players and fans. Let it be something that unites and enjoyed by all lest we forget that we are all of the same clan of a tribe called MANKIND in our secluded island called EARTH.

.... on a lighter note some referee could use some lesson in doing their work .. but 'nuff said.

Bob

just curious, if Mr. Collina uses a straight razor to shave his head

Banshee..

I appreciate your sentiment and hope that I have done no offense. I am usually quite "tongue in cheek" when I post here. Today is the 4th. Happy Independence day to all of you. Not just people in America, but all of those who value their independence:cool:
