I'm looking for a material to make a guard out of that would match up nicely with the desert ironwood I've got for the handle material.

I think bronze would look good, but I can't seem to find bar stock large enough (at least 1/2" thick). What about brass? Copper? Where can I buy the bronze/brass/copper?

I have some bronze. It's an alloy I picked up from a machine shop. It looks alot like brass but the neet thing, is it doesn't tarnish. I believe I have 1/4" & 1/2". If you need some, let me know.

Brass and ironwood are a natural combo as far as color is concerned. I haven't tried Bronze yet but it should be the same. Gib
