Looking for a solid brass flashlight, not antique. Does anyone know of one out there?

Thanks!

Peak is the only reference I found on the internet. I think it was discontinued. :(

A brass flashlight would weigh about three times as much as an Aluminum one. iTp offers a Titanium AAA flashlight that weighs 16.5gm compared to 13gm for the same model in Al.

Weight isn't an issue for me, but is perhaps the reason that brass isn't widely used.

Peak is the only company I know of that makes production amounts of them. A bunch of companies use brass for heatsinks in high intensity lights, but not for the whole body.

Is Peak still in business and offering brass flashlights? I found an 800 number, but it just kept ringing?

Just got through on the 800 number. All brass flashlights are available except the Rainier model.

Thanks for everyone's help!

go bug the the custom flashlight makers over at Candlepower forums. Ive seen a few brass goodies from them

I just like the warm of its appearance, especially after it forms a nice patina with tarnish.

I have a brass K&M Matchcase that does just that...

Yes, good site to find unusual things like brass lights. I scored a brass Aleph 19 clone from a well-known member over there. Very cool light and quite possibly the only one of its kind. Looks great with a patina or freshly polished. Just glows. Super bright too.:D
