good old brass and rosewood. G96 Boot & Belt, The stud on the pouch locks into the hole in the G96 handle.

I've never seen that setup on the sheath...

I think every knife like that looks beautiful, but you have to have some sort of belt sheath because of the weight. I think that is why I only own one. ;)

Very cool, never seen those before. I assume that they are not current production. Any idea when they were made?

kabar has a production date list. The 2804 is 1981-87. It's thinner and lighter than the Buck 112.
 
That's nifty. The days of the big, brass, lockbacks must have been something else. Before my time though. I do wish KA-BAR would give traditional folders a shot again, and I'm not referring to the rebranded Canal Streets.
