brass liners on fixed knives

I like to use brass liners on fixed knives (looks great) I have been epoxying them on to the handle material, but lately the epoxy has been failing. is there some form of prep work needed on the brass to insure a good bond? or a specific type of epoxy

You might want to post this on the Makers forum under shoptalk. I use 120 sandpaper to roughen up the surface to be epoxied.

Good Idea, I never thought of using Brass. (Or Copper.....)

As suggested, rough up the surface... or try drilling a bunch of holes in it to give the epoxy something to grab.
