Brass tubing?

I have been looking for some brass tubing to use with the brass pin material I bought a while back at Home Depot, but Home Depot, Lowes, ACE, etc. all don't have any available (copper tubing only.)

Can anyone suggest a common store that would sell something usable for a brass thong tube (I'd rather pick it up locally than order from someplace like McMaster-Carr at this point)?

Thanks!

Any hobbies shop will have an assortment of brass copper and aluminum tubing. That is where I get mine. I can usually make nice pins for about 7.50 a foot.

Thanks Ken! Do you mean something like a craft store (ie Michaels) or model RC hobby store, or ???

I buy mine at ace hardware. It comes in three foot long sections for about 5 bucks.

I've also bought it at an RC/Train hobby shop, but it's more expensive there.

General Hobby stores have 'em...Michael's included.

I order them now through ACE hardware...I had to go in and have them look up the part number....and then start ordering it. It's definitely in their catalog.

Best of luck!

Suppliers ,like Jantz, sell tubing in many shapes, sizes, and materials. You can decide how to make up a mosaic rivet by looking at the ones they carry.

Thanks much for the replies, I'll check with a different ACE store or Michaels (or consider ordering some.)
