Brass vs nickel silver

I’m always amazed at how difficult it can be to tell which it is from a picture. Especially against a stainless steel blade. Some pictures could literally go either way.

In person it is so obvious. In pictures not so much. Am I the only one?

No you are not the only one.I think it may be due to bad lighting or photo quality.
I have often had the same difficulty.
