I just saw the bravo-1 destruction test, and was surprised. I know that the guy does some retarded stuff that you would never do, but this one early was ok. I was surprised at the blades rolling on the wood chop, and batoning. Those are real life needs for a knife, and others performed better. All the bragging about the recon team using it, and what ever. They, in a survival situation may have to baton or chop wood, and then turn around and cut cord. Rolled edges make it hard to cut precise cuts.

I normally don't watch the knife tests and haven't seen that one - you said it, the stuff they do in a knife test are things one would never use a knife for. For the most part, they are silly and unecessary.

BUT! My Bravo-1 has chopped and batoned quite s bit of wood, including mesquite, and I have yet to roll or deform the edge. Maybe I should aim for the knots...........

This has been discussed more than once. Most are tired of this conversation, sorry.
