Bravo-1 Sheath N00b Question

I have one of the older, crappier kydex sheaths for the BRKT Bravo-1, and I was wanting to remove the molded loop on it and just use paracord. The question is, how do I accomplish that? When I try removing the phillips-head screws the other side just turns along with it. Thanks in advance!

try pressing with your index finger really hard against the flat part thats turning.. wont be easy..
