I just realized I could order I fully customized Rd-7 from Justin for about the same price. Oh well:( . I guess I will have to wait for another day.

Ordered mine, and received confirmation that it shipped today. Black micarta for me.

TLC - The next time I go to visit the wifes family in your area, I will let you know. We need to get together to talk knives, we seem to have the same taste in blades.

Beautiful looking knives, I think I may just order one. Are these too big for EDC? Do they come with the kydex sheath?

Anyone have one that EDC's it and has some thoughts on it's size and trying to keep it mostly concealed?

I got mine tonight...the BROWN truck arrived for me!!! I love it, it is simply an outdoor knife through and through. It kicks ass...period. If you don't have one, get one. Gene

First things first....I hate the sheath, it sucks big D#$K, thats my humble opinion, I will say that it holds the knife firmly...and I guess thats what its all about..but putting it in there is about a test on your nerves, it takes to much force, and the feeling for me is...and let me interupt myself and say...I still feel this is one seriously badass knife...I LOVE it...I will post all kind of pics tomorrow!.......well...the feeling is..I have a Slither and a Norhtstar and they both came with bushcraft style sheaths...I paid even more for this puppy and got kydex...I am dissapointed to say the least. first of all, I love leather sheaths, kydex is like sandpaper on your blade, and it feels too tactical, so if you disagree...thats cool. I ordered 2 firesteels with the knife figuring, well, I'd get some while I had the chance...I have 2 scout firesteels by the way, and don't need them, I ordered 2 army models...so if you want 1, let me know. Anyways, well, I feel that this above all others, deserved the sheath that came with one of my Slithers, an all around high quality bushcraft sheath made of leather with a firesteel loop.
Other than that...the knife is as close to perfect as I can imagine...2 friends were over tonight, one is on Bladeforums, they both said.."thats cool" and the guy who is on Bladeforums is going to buy one ASAP. It really feels good, so anybody who bought one and doesnt have it yet...don't worry, it is VERY NICE...I was about to buy a British bushcraft knife this week...I'll pass, this knife can do it all..and you guys know, its gonna carve tomorrow..BIG time, thats my story...and I'm stickin to it! Gene

I'm making a leather sheath with fireloop tomorrow...I'll post pics, Gene
