I have owned and do plan on purchasing a replacement ESEE 3 that is until I found this little knife from Bark River. Im looking for some thoughts from people who own both knives. Im concerned that moisture might get in between the blade and the scales on the Bravo. Also I have no experience with 3v but have read good things about it. I have also read about the Bark Rivers chipping on the edge on there 3v knives is this still an issue?

Thanks in advance guys

I believe the chipping issue was with A2, you would have to do something very wrong with 3V to get it to chip. Also, in my experience, it's pretty stain resistant too.

That's probably my favorite production fixed blade EDC knife that I own, and I don't even have the more awesome 3V version. Great edge geometry; it's a fantastic little slicer. I made my own scales for it. No issues so far with moisture, but I DO live in Colorado, which is an arid state.

This is good news. I loved my ESEE 3 but im always looking for new things to try out and this little knife might be something I have to give a go.
