That part of the warranty no is longer valid. It was discontinued with the new warranty change. The reference was removed from the front page, but the webmaster at the time missed a reference. We are having some difficulties in getting it removed.

EDIT: i have sent an email to Auntie and hopefully we will be able to get this removed soon.

I remember hearing of some cases of people buying used knives and and deliberately breaking them to get a new one.

That is correct. People were buying knives off eBay, bending or breaking them and asking for two new ones. Then they would sell them on eBay, and so on.

By the way, it takes a 6 foot cheater bar to do this.

All warranties are at the Discretion of Himalayan Imports.
