Breakfree and Ebony Handles?

Will getting Breakfree or any oil on the Ebony handles damage them.I don't purposely apply it but it inadvertently gets on the handles.

Hasn't hurt any of my knives, regardless of if wood, bone, plastic (excluding Celluloid: I don't carry a knife with celluloid covers) G10, or whatever. (I do not possess any horn or antler covered knives other than the 2018 Blade Forums 301. It is not used around the shop or near lubricants or solvents.)
I do wipe them down as soon as I'm finished.
I see no reason to let it soak.

The only thing I know that can be affected is unstabilized wood or other porous materials that would absorb the oil or other liquids. I’ve seen wood gun stocks that were discolored near the metal receiver where the breakfree soaked into the wood grain. Antler and Horn that isn’t protected can absorb oil and swell so be careful. Usually if you wipe off excess oil right after applying it doesn’t have time to soak in unless it’s dripping wet so that’s why I use a cloth that is treated just enough to leave a film and that’s a plenty.
