Hello all,

I'm new to the whole forum thing, figured I'd break the Ice and throw one of my pieces up and see what feedback I get.

This is one of my Bushmaster survival blades. It is constructed of 1/4" L6 HT'd to Rc59, the handles are black canvas Micarta and are removable via standoffs and screws. Blade is 8" handle to tip, overall is 13 1/4". I gave it a splatter pattern ferric chloride etch, the whole knife got random rock pattern texture. The sheath is a kydex drop leg rig, that can be changed up as it is removable. Tell me what you think.IMAG0310.jpgIMAG0311.jpgIMAG0314.jpgIMAG0313.jpgIMAG0319.jpg

Thats looks awesome

That is very nice! At first, I wasn't sure I liked the random rock pattern and the finish. But I have a S!K blade about the same size, and I'm almost afraid to use it. Your blade looks like it's come through a war and ready for more. I'd have no heartburn using that blade and I'm thinking I need a knife like that, which looks indestructible and I'd have fun putting it to good, hard use.

Well done.

That's what it was built for. The blade has already seen plenty of use and shrugs it off, holds a great edge too! Thanks

i didn't think i would like the random angles on the spine (matching the scales), but it works. nice job.
