Well it has been, I forgot how many weeks since I got my CQC-7, and I am still work the Blade Open & Closed to get it smoother, and the drill is working. Think it has been about 10 days since the last time I sat for a while Opening & Closing the Blade.

Yesterday it was 107 degrees hot where I live, so I go out to the garage where I keep my firearms cleaning stuff for my FrogLube Paste.

I apply another coat on the blade, moving parts, let it sit in the hot garage for an hour or so, and maybe it is because of the heat I notice the FrogLube has the smell of MINT for the first time?

Any way I still think the FrogLube is helping with the break in, and appears to be penetrating metal pours like it is advertised to do, and leaving behind a sheen on the Metal.

This is just an FYI if you have any friend with FrogLube ask to try it.

Are you aware you're supposed to heat the metal you are treating with the FrogLube? The heat in the garage probably helped but I like to use a hair dryer.

I am sure the garage was well over 110 degrees, and I have used the FrogLube in the winer when it is cold where I live in the 30's, and 40's. I notice when it has been used on metal firearm parts, it appears to leave behind a sheen on the metal. I never noticed the "mint" smell before, but is sure is better than the Hoppes No. 9 smell.
