The Greater Cloud Rat (as opposed to its lesser brethren) has been seen once again in the treetops of the Philippine Islands. It's been 112 years since the last sighting.

It's a cute little devil. :D

LATE BREAKING NEWS: It's actually the Greater Dwarf Cloud Rat. Sorry about that -- it's pretty easy to make that mistake. Hopefully, our Glorious Beacon of Light will not be upset by my minor faux pas.

the colossal squid has rotating hooks that help to draw in it's pray once it's attached itself to it... I thought it was cool. always hate seeing such rare creatures being studied dead rather then alive though :(

the scientists studying the specimen said tastes quite awful, due to the high ammonia content of it's body which is used to maintain buoyancy.

We all (pretty much) like the great outdoors, don't we?

Many a Busse knife has chopped, sliced, and pounded things in the woods. Possibly even the Philippine woods.

OK ... maybe the link is tenuous. But I've got to do something in between sessions with that F5 key!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

:confused: I have not been drinking NEARLY enough to understand this thread! :confused:

I hope my proxy for the BAD can stay awake long enough to out drink Skunk and score for me. No worries though; he's a good guy... on top of things. :thumbup:
 
OP must have been hitting the Talisker and surfing obscure wilderness forums during the wait.

However, I predict the Greater Dwarf Cloud Rat will become an important figure here at the Busse subforum.
