Hi everyone does anyone know if anyone ever came out with abreast cancer knife or something along those lines? Thanks.

Aside from a scapel, I think you mean something that supports research on the subject?

As the above points out, women may not be real cozy with the idea.

I suppose a paired offering of a Pink Delica for breast cancer, and something for prostate cancer, like a butcher knife, would be a nice collector set. That might sell. :D

Really, any offering that gets knives in the hands of women for EDC tasks would be a good thing - there are some who need to get used to the concept when their coworkers flick out the blade to open mail, etc.

Pink SAKs, pink Delicas, what else comes in pink to match the ribbon?

Some really good folks made this happen and the knife is stunning.

Take a look here and here for more info.

Check out both links. The last one has a picture of the knife.

I can see a pink sak with breast cancer ribbon, but not a delica. It's just too "menacing" to average female for the purpose.

Kyocera makes the Susan G. Komen Ceramic Santoku kitchen Knife. They donate $5 bucks for each knife sold to the Komen foundation.

Thats exactly what I mean why wouldn't victorinox put out something like a pink classic parred with like a pink ribbon button or something?

Men get breast cancer too. We just don't hear as much about it...for obvious reasons.

Breast cancer may even more threatening for men because....

We don't look for it.....and the only direction it can spread is inward.

I believe Vic did. Vic put out a pick version of their Swiss Card a few months after the Swiss Card debuted.

I disagree about the pink Delica!! (I am a woman, and hate pink, but that is besides the point.)

But the fact that you are on a knife forum automatically make you a non-average female! :D

(My buddy's girlfriend open my old gerber by nibbing the blade with two fingers, throw it downward till blade comes out a little bit, then hold the handle with two fingers and tap the blade on something till it's fully open, because she's afraid of it, was pretty funny to watch)
