Been a while since I posted some photos. These two Spydies bring my collection to 40 (became addicted last May).

I really like the PPT. It's a non-gentlemanly knife with a gentlemanly pocket clip allowing for DEEP concealment in business clothing. Looks like I have a pen in my pocket. It carries deeper than even the wire clip models like the Caly 3. I also like the textured scales. Action is smooth as silk and flicks open easily.

The Breeden just looked quirky to me, so I ordered one. Not sure if I like it, to be honest. Kind of a weird knife. Looks like a barber's straight razor.

Nice scores! Didn't like either knife when I first saw them but now I want both.

Nice. I feel your pain. If I told you how many knives I have bought since October, you wouldn't believe me. I got a bonus in November that all went to knives and knife related gear and then I spent my entire tax return on knives as well. Those chunks of cash along with spending all my extra cash each paycheck on knives has caused my collection to swell considerably in the last 4 months.

I'm catching up to you quick unless I start buying CRK's or Striders, which I'm considering, which might slow my collecting down a little. ;)

Dude! How about that PPT! I bought one about a month ago and was blown away by the F&F of mine. Mine has a pretty strong detent (not a bad thing) so that when it finally gives, the blade flies out like it's an AO. I also like the two separate jimping sections for the different grips. Grats. Enjoy the hell out of it.

I agree that the Perrin PPT is one heck of a EDC/SD knife. The texture grips , jimping , clip , and the blade shape makes for a GREAT knife that will do everyday chores BUT in a SD type situation , I wouldn't feel "under-bladed" !!!

The FNF on mine is just outstanding , blade came razor sharp , and it flick's open like it was on ball-bearings. I have smaller size hands and this knife fits me like it was custom made for me. Its just a outstanding knife that works for me in both "saber / P'kal " grips and most others.

The Breeden ??? If I could get one under $100 , OK --- but its not really on my "need" list.
