I know Walter Brend's knives are very nice...but I was still a bit hesitant on ordering his hatchet. I said to myself "This thing better be a knockout for what it costs."

So, I got the hatchet today....opened the box, and was completely blown away. This hatchet is simply awesome, it belongs in a movie- its that cool. I'm very impressed

No arguments here brother!!!! It IS totally cool and verrrrrrry functional! Even the top of the spike shaves hair! Kevlar fears it! :D

I love the design.
I don't need serial numerization, or so much hand-craftedness.

If I spend $1250.00 on a hatchet, it better come with a hooker and $1200.00 cash.:D :D :D :D

Received my Walter Brend hatchet. A work of art yet fully functional.
The breakaway sheath works, reminds me of Tom Maringers breakaway knife sheath... if you need it in your hand..its there.
