Hi, all,

I'm new to hawks and am planning to get a Brend Field Grade. It's still a bit too pricey for me but hopefully I can get a used one.

I looked on ATC's site and could not find info on warranty. Is it the same as all the 'hawks?

Does it come with a kydex sheath? 2thehilt.com has the sheath listed as kydex but ATC has it listed as cordura/nylon. Does 2thehilt have custom sheaths made for it? Brigade Quarter Masters has the sheath listed as "quality." If any of you have ordered from them, would this be kydex or cordura?

The steel on the VTT is 1060; how does this compare to the 1050 steel used on the Brends?

Hi. I have a new in box Brend field grade with a new Survival Sheath Systems kydex sheath. I have had it for over a year and all I have done with it is look at it.
It has never been thrown. I paid $95.00 for the hatchet and $50.00 for the sheath. I really have no use for it. I do not have permission to sell on this forum, but I am open to trades. Email me if interested in a trade. My new email address is spyderco_fan@webtv.net
