The seller had overstated the damage to the blade - certainly no attempts have been made to sharpen the swedge - only tiny marks commensurate with use are visible, and then only from certain angles - and you have to look pretty hard. Edge shows signs of imperfect factory grind and some less than perfect sharpening. Easily sorted.

I fully stripped the knife and cleaned the internals - everything looks new inside and went back together with a couple of dabs of molybdenum grease. Beautifully smooth now, and no play on lockup etc.

In fact the biggest decision is weather I should keep this as a cabinet queen or a daily use knife - it is so light, carries beautifully and feels wonderful in hand. Anyhow, one very happy lad. Enjoy the pics and thanks for your help on the decision to buy!

Use that knife Sir, it's not a cabinet queen! Good find, congrats!
