I just wanted to share some images of my new custom Brent Cramer (BF name "blades&grace") 4" Tony Bose style backpocket pattern. I've purchased some second hand customs before on the forums, but this is the first slipjoint that I've had made from the ground up just for me. I'm so pleased at how it came out. The fit, finish and overall craftmanship is spectacular. The handle slabs are ivory paper micarta, stainless liners, pins and shield, and the 3 1/8" blade is D2 with a 600 grit hand rubbed finish. Backspring is flush in all three positions and has great snap.

Brent is a true gentleman to work with. In a pretty short lead time I was furnished with a superb blade at a very reasonable price. Check him out folks!

I just got back from the Blade Show and finding this post was an excellent way to end a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for the kind words guys. And a special thanks to you, Corey! It was a pleasure to build that knife for you and I'm glad you like it.

Here's a link to more pics of that knife if you're interested.

:thumbup:Fine looking knife Comoha it does have a top shelve appearance (what about the scotch?). I would be interested in seeing other patterns MR. Cramer makes.
Congratulations on the replacement.

I love the lines on that knife. The blade shape is very much to my liking also. Can you tell me how thick it is? Thanks. Great score!

Kodiak, thanks for the interest. If I remember correctly the blade tang thickness was .122 the spring was .1225 and the bushing .123. So, just under an 1/8.

I had to pour a couple fingers of Lagavulin just to match the caliber of this folder. :D

Great looking knife there. It's got it all!

Comoha,

You have had your 4" Backpocket for about two weeks now. Just wondering are you still happy with it and if it is seeing some good pocket/carry time? I bet the pix here do not do it the justice it deserves. Thanks for reading and giving us an update.

That is a beautiful knife!!! Congrats!!! I LOVE white knives, as I think it looks classy.

It's still early in the courtship so I haven't made any major moves with her yet. I'm still in the holding-hands-and-stairing-deeply-into-her-eyes phase... ;)

Stay tuned.
