Here's a real nice lil' trapper by Bret Dowell that I acquired recently on the Customs for Sale forum here. It's 3 & 3/8" closed with a flawlessly ground and razor sharp ATS-34 drop point blade, half stop, nice swedging & nicking, backspring flush in all positions, stainless liners, olive green linen micarta scales which are very pleasing to the eye, and terrific walk and talk.

This is my 1st from Bret, but will not be my last I can assure you.
Comments welcome. :)

I'd whistle, if the machine could do it.

Very pretty.

Nice one, Ford. Congrats on a fine new addition!

Ford, nice one..I have the linerless version of yours in my pocket now. Bret cuts a great nail nick.

Yes indeed, I like that one. I am somewhere on Mr. Dowell's list myself.
Dowell, Menefee, Kirk, those Oklahoma makers are on a roll.
Are there any knife makers in Arkansas, fewpop? ;)

:D Well let's see...maybe a few rookies like Jerry Fisk, Bob Dozier, Tom Krein, Joe Flournoy, the late Jimmy Lile, Dan Crotts, Jim Crowell, John Fitch, John Perry, Jim Walker, Lin Rhea, Robert Spradlin, Tom Upton, Ron Newton, John White...and probably about 100 others I've forgotten. :D
