That's a beauty Vince.:thumbup:

I'm three weeks into my six month wait with Bret, but the more I see, the more I know it's worth it!

Congrats, Vince, she's a beauty! Great work, Bret! :thumbup::cool:

That description sounds delightful, the picture proves that it is. Really like that a lot, Vince. :thumbup:

THUD!! :eek::D;)

That tusk'll hunt Caruso. Give it an annual bath in half lemon oil and half mineral oil.

Great scales on that one, I think I know where they came from. ;)
Waiting on mine sometime soon I think.

Dang........nice one Vince. Having to delay my custom orders (bought a new house) has been tough and you're not making it any better. :)

I'm glad I still have a knife on order with Bret. His work looks to be better and better all the time.

Took these....somewhat of "ivory figure" action

I am counting the knives, I only sent 5 sets of scales. It was A++++ Ivory. So I did see them before they were put on your knife. Bret did a great job in bringing out the beauty of that one. Boy, I can not wait.

You are more than welcome, I am happy as well that they ended up on a friends knife. I had access to some Ivory from a friend, he inherited it from another maker who passed away and the widow gave him a BUNCH of tusks. He has been kind enough to give me some to send to a couple of makers. Brets' knife will be the second I get with my friends ivory used, I think I have one more coming soon from a maker who has another thread running. I will post it up when received. Friends helping Friends as Sheila puts it. What goes around, comes around.
