I got this from Brett over a month ago and finally got around to taking some decent pictures today. Like the other knives I have gotten from Brett. It has perfect grinds and excellent fit and finish. Get one of Bretts knives before he starts charging what they are worth. Larry

:cool:I agree his knifes are alot of knife for the money. Really nice,I like the way the micarta
handles look like wood grain.

Nice one Larry. I've got a swayback on order with Bret that I am looking forward to.

Larry, that one turned out really nice. I have a 3.5 trapper with fluted bolsters coming up next.

Ford, you are going to love the swayback. My son just got his and I can't pry it out of his hands long enough to take a photo.

That's a great looking little knife Larry. I like that long nail nick.

Very nice knife & looks like it's a great size for an EDC. I especially love the look of the natural linen micarta. Congrats!

Another nice one Larry:thumbup: You don't realize it, but your earlier pics of Bret's work is what got me to place some orders with Bret. I carry my little dogleg shadow almost every day now:thumbup:

Bret's knives are great! My first handmade slipjoint, purchased around the beginning of the year, was Bret's little 2 3/4" dogleg with green canvas micarta scales and the same fluted stainless bolsters. Spearpoint blade, basically the same knife you pictures up top. It's the perfect size for carrying in dress pants, which I wear everyday, and it handles pretty much 100% of the light duties I run into day by day. Since then I've gotten a knife from Rick Menefee and a used Sodbuster pattern from another maker whose name escapes me just now. I pretty much have zero use for my big tactical folders, although I don't see myself phasing them out altogether. I really like my new Ron Flaherty folder, which is HUGE, and I could never ditch my Military, Pinnacle, and a couple others, but really, I'd rather buy knives that I actually carry and use anymore.
