I received this from Brett some time ago, and shamefully hadn't photographed it yet. I have taken it hiking several times, and taken down a sapling with it among other things. It works as good as it looks. The handle is very comfy, and I don't have to choke up on it like many others. The palm swell is set back just right.
It's "nothing fancy" but I like the simple lines. I usually go for clip points, but I wanted something different. I wasn't disappointed, this is one of my most used knives.

My photo skills aren't the best, and my place has terrible lighting.

Better late than never with the pics. ;) Nice nife! No doubt Brett will be tickled to hear you have put it to use. I like the straight-backed look of this knife. Very clean indeed. And I know from experience that Brett designs and executes very comfortable handles. Thanks for the pics. :)

Brett's work keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for him to finish my next bowie. I was showing off my Gatlin bowie this weekend at the Indy 1500 gun/knife show, and had at least 2 people trying to buy it from me. (no, Brett, I didn't get rid of it.)

I'm on the list for one, but it will be awhile. His designs are very clean and from what I have heard, so is his work. Nice knife.

I got very lucky and called him right after he posted one of his first Bowie photos here, and got mine in 2 months. I told him I wish I could order 3 more because he's gonna be busy for a long time I bet!

Nice Gatlin piece! I'm glad to hear it's getting used too :D

Jamie, I've handled a couple of Brett's knives, and they are done with excellence. You'll be glad you ordered one!
