  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Brewing a full grain mash brew tonight - A Dubbel.

mmmmm.......... beer....

There's a lot of random photos in there that had me chuckling.

What were you measuring with the coffee pot?

That is the lautering - we pull out some hot wort and then pour it back on top of the mash to help the wort filter out.

Good eye though, keep your questions in mind for the trip to the Lou next weekend. ;^)

Looks like fun! I recognize Kirrill, but not the other fellow, or the cat.

Cool pics. I just got my 5 gallon setup. My wife got me a gift card from the brew supply place for Christmas.

I will be doing an IPA for my first brew with it. It's a kit but I've actually tried the recipe and its a good one.

Awesome! I hope it turns out to be an amazing brew. I'm about to set up my 15 gallon kettle with a plate chiller and pump. I'm stoked. At this point, I've only done extract, so it's time to go to the next level.

looks good, Adny, seems like making you're own is the thing to do these days. Pretty cool, hope to try some one day :)
