Brian Tighe...... Thoughts?

I’ve admired Brian Tighe’s design and ingenuity for many years, but have never owned any of his work.

Really thinking hard about picking up one of his Breaker 3.5” knives and am wondering what the consensus is from those that have owned his work. Looks like his latest mill work is a step above anything else in the sub $1K range, IMHO.

Specifically talking about full custom, not the Tighe & Friends line or any of the licensed makers stuff. This WILL be a carry knife, may not see hard use, but will still be used.

I think his work is undeniably impressive. Custom makers gush about him, which says a lot. His work is also completely opposite of my preference for clean, simple design.

Yeah, I’m going for out of the ordinary with this one. LOL!

His designs aren't my style either.
Mr. Tighe has an absolutely stellar reputation in the community. I don't recall having heard anything negative about the man or his work.
