im thinking of buying a brian tighe 'tighe stick' to replace the black sable i just sold on ebay. do you think that the quality is much higher being a handmade than the sebenza? or do you think that once you get into ranges of fit andd finish quality like that of chris reeve that its more just down to materials and style.

True, but not everyone here is familiar with Brian Tighe's knives so the bias still remains. It is also pretty rude to make comparisons of other makers knives in the CRK Forum. This forum is for the discussion of CRK knives. The Blade Discussion Forum is the better place to pose such comparison questions.
