i scored this guy a few weeks ago....:D i love it...

it's a brian wagner, sharp thing... brian is a custom kydex sheath and knife maker.... his company is called okuden www.okuden.net

he is a really cool guy to deal with... loves to talk guns and knives...

this knife has a rediculously sharp, 4 in. (recurved and bead blasted) a2 steel blade and black and green micarta handles... the knife is very solid and comfortable feeling while in the hand... an excellant all around knife.. it's not really my style, but it is just too cool, i fell in love with it when i first saw it.....:o

his kydex work is top notch.... it accomidates a large tek-lok...very nicely done... he actually used to work for blade-tech back in the days...

cheers.. mike

This knife denitely looks solid. What do you mean by saying "it's not really my style"? What is it that you like about it and what is it that you don't?

i absolutely love the knife....:D

i just usually tend to prefer more traditional style knives...:)

kind of like comparing a rifle with a wooden stock or one with a black synthetic stock.....

i wish it wasn't raining.... i was using this knife to shave down some fence boards, for atlatl darts....

I will deffinately agree with you about Brian.. Top notch guy, and he does great work. I have purchased stuff from him in the past, and am currently waiting on an order.

He is one of the good guys!

Mtnfolkmike, That knife looks w-a-a-a-a-y too shiny and new. ;) Brian's blades are built for beating, so howzabout applying a little "tough love" to that little beastie?

There's a review of his Sharp Thing II (ST2) at the link below. That little knife has saved me **so** much money because whenever I look at a knife in that 4" blade size range I think to myself, "Why buy this (fill-in-model-name-here) knife when I still haven't yet begun to hurt that ST2 I got from Brian?"

And as others noted, he's a great guy to spend time with.... extremely high on the integrity scale. What you see is what you get - no duplicity, no hidden agenda. And his workmanship is the gold standard for fit 'n finish in kydex, although his knives (as I noted in linked review) are all about function and performance, not fussy or pretty looks.

i've only gotten a chance to use this knife a few times, i threw my back out a few weeks ago and have pretty much not been able to do anything, but sit here on the computer for small amounts of time, before i have to change positions..... all in due time.. first things first.... i'm actually starting to go a little crazy not being able to do crap....:grumpy:
