Brick and Mortar Dealers, REKAT's Size

After going to Excalibur Cutlery (a midsize chain in the Pac. NW) and getting a blank stare when I asked for REKAT knives, I was wondering how many brick and mortar dealers are out there for you guys?

Also I was wondering how many knives you put out a year, compared to a Spyderco/Benchmade size company. I realize you guys are kinda small and are just starting to take off. However, with your Rolling Lock, I would have thought that more people would try to pick up you line.

Anyway, I'm just curious.

Thanks,
Mitch

We are a company that went the distributor route and we have no idea how many dealers are out there. As comparing us to a Benchmade, Spyderco or Cold Steel, we are not even in the same Ballpark nor do we want to be.
As to our production there is no company that will publish that information.

Bob,
Thanks for the info! Sorry if it was offensive to ask you about your production stats.

I should be receiving my first TWO Carnivours in the next week. Thanks to Murray at Pro Edge and Yekim!

Bob,
With the fine product that your company puts out, I can't see how, eventually, you can avoid becoming a cutlery force.
Every person I show the Carny or the Sifu to, they all "oohh and aahh" and have to have one soon as possible, or so they say.

Even the "non-knife" people.
The style and lock are impressive even to those who don't generally have an appreciation for such things.
I, for one, Hope this venture enjoys continuing and ongoing success. But for purely self-serving reasons, of course!
