New member here, returning knife enthusiast. Have a number of Benchmade's, Spyderco's, CarbonV SRK, KaBar's, CRKT's & some other assorted stuff. My most recent purchases after a hiatus of many years was a Spyderco G-10 Endura, Military, Native & Sage and a BM 710 to keep the 705 I got years ago company.
The knife I most miss is my old Gerber Mk II ("work accident", so to speak). I see Gerber is talking about redoing a Mk II, so I'll be curious to see what it's like. The knife I still have that I cherish the most is probably the old SRK. Not that's it's a perfect knife, but it is pretty indestructible & has saved my bacon a couple times. Pitty that Camilus went out of business and couldn't provide the CarbonV steel to Cold Steel anymore.
Next in the queue to be drooled over: Fallkniven A1 or S1 (looks very familiar like my SRK), Karambit fixed-blade & maybe a little Bark River fixed-blade.
The site has been very informative and entertaining so far - looking forward to participating often.
Oh, and the avatar is Poobah, one of our many dogs & cats.
