Hi, talking about hybrid, some time ago I was very impressed by a blade from Jens Ansø.
Shape and design where so nice for me, then the desire to reply something like that grow in me until today.
Here is Brigante, he is a piece of 17,39 oz of Vanadis 4 Extra, blade is 10,6” for a 16,5” overall length. Thickness is 0,2”.
Handle is made in Bocote and black spacer isn’t fiber but a veneer of Ebony.
Finished by hand with sandpapers and sharpen with Japanese whet stones.

At first I thought the handle was wild olive . Nice work ! I think the Japanese used WHET stones ,save the wheat for the pasta.

Aye, I made correction my english sucks!! Thanks Mete, mybe is for this nobody is interested with it, 'cause don't like the pasta, next time I'll write Japanese cote! hahahaha
