I was just realizing that Busse has not yet come out with a competition finish SFNO. Having seen a couple stripped SFNOs lately, I can say that the SFNO would look absolutely awesome in the competition finish. Add to that a convex edge and you've got a real winner!!
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think Busse must absolutely make this knife. I don't care if it's fatty thickness or the regular .22" thick, it would make a heck of a knife, and at competition finish price points, I imagine it would be a huge seller (ya readin this, Jerry?). What a great gift to all those fans of Busse who could not get in on the HODD SFNOLE.
Hopefully, Busse has not been dissuaded from the competition finish because of the paltry cries of a few Hogs about a little rust here and there. In the thread on the best of 2008, I noticed the competition finish knives were popular choices for the best Busse knives of '08. Jerry--Keep up the competition finish! We like it just fine, and its a money saver too. But most of all, YOU GOTTA BRING IT TO THE SFNO in '09!! Hopefully sooner rather than later, I don't have enough SFNOs lying around here, and Hogs keep asking me for some!
What say you, Busse hoards? Do you want to see a Competition Finish SFNO at the right price in 2009? BRING IT!!!
