9" blade is definitely midsized. No question.

Well maybe to people in here, but 9 inches has always been considered a large blade. Small has typically under 4.5. Mid size has been between 4.5" and 7.5-8". Anything over that was large. But due to the oversize knives being made today, I would say XL is in order. Anything over 11" should be XL.

I think the midsize offerings have been to many in a row. Time for some LARGE blades. 10 inches or over. A BG FBM with the new SHe handle...

Agree 100% with Brian77's comment. Been waiting semi-patiently for more large blade offerings. Just got a 1311 to tide me over until I find the right piece of infi.
