It started it's life as a 471 Diamondback, now discontinued by Buck. Found in the middle of nowhere, rusted to heck, and ran over countless times it was scratched bad. Handle loosey goosey.
A little time with a belt sander, and by hand sanding turned it back to a shiny beauty! Ripped the handle off, will put paracord to finish as I don't want to drill (pretty good ht from my work on trying to remove metal). Someone had reground it horribly (see video for original shape), so to save it I chopped it at an angle that I thought made it look nice.
Very functional and scary sharp. I was able to practice a few skills with this, and think it turned out better than it started
