Brisa Elver D2 Blade

DIY grips & sheath .
Purchased another Brisa , the Elver this time in D2 .
Not waiting on grip screws , I glued the grip panels and then removed everything that did not feel like a grip .
I did push the grip as far forward as I could , just prefer it that way .
Next I will slice some rope with the factory edge .

Oh dear !
The cam did a false start !
Factory edge :
Steel is D2 @ 60-55HRC ( 60HRC file bites - 55HRC file skates )
I got to 300 slices of rope and then the edge failed on the paper .
Humidity around 48% .

Difference between factory and re sharpened was 50 slices .
Factory edge 300 / resharpened 350 slices .

Actually , the cam did record the factory edge ...
